Team Offsite: Hand-Building
Wheel-throwing Team/Private Event Offsite ($90/PP)
Class Description
With hand-building, we'll use slabs (long sheets of clay) to make mugs, vases, coasters, hangers, etc... The basics are very straightforward for hand-building, but there are loads of freedom to get creative through design, texturing, layering of clay. Generally speaking, hand-building tends to be a bit more civilized, where one's imagination can run wild. Wine is the preferred drink of choice. :<) (BYOB!) Post-class: Our expert team will glaze your work for you, and will do the rest! Pricing is $90 per participant (minimum 6, maximum 25) Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Policies
Event Policy & Information Payment Policy Once you confirm your event time and headcount, we will send an invoice for the required 20% deposit, which must be paid upon receipt to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the event. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your reservation. Changes & Cancellations Any changes to the event date, time, or number of participants must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations require at least 7 days' notice. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 7 days of the event. Food & BYOB You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including wine, beer, or non-alcoholic drinks. Please drink responsibly—this is a hands-on activity involving tools and materials. Note: We do not provide cups, plates, utensils, or bottle openers—please bring what you need. Guests are responsible for cleaning up any food or drink items they bring. Suggested Clothing Aprons will be provided, but working with clay can get messy. We recommend wearing (or bringing) clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Clay typically washes out of most fabrics. Long hair should be tied back, and long nails trimmed, as both can interfere with working effectively on the wheel or with handbuilding. Picking Up Artwork Pieces created during private events take a minimum of four weeks to complete (including bisque and glaze firings). Once your pieces are ready, a staff member will notify the event organizer via email. All artwork will be individually bagged for pickup. In-person pickup is required—we do not offer shipping.
