TryDay Wheel Throwing (Fri or Sat 2024)

Class Description

This Friday or Saturday clay class is a 1-time clay class for letting loose and relaxing. Designed for ages 14 and over. • Get a little dirty and creative at the Clayroom while you learn a new creative medium on the pottery wheel • Our instructor will start with a demo and break down wheel throwing into discrete steps. They will then walk you through these steps and and assists you with the basic techniques on the potter’s wheel. • The last 1-1.5 hours will be individual creations time. The instructor will support you through this entire time • We provide the tools and clay Post Class: You will select glaze choices and we will bisque fire, glaze and then glaze fire all the work. This post event workflows will take a minimum of four weeks. We will email you once everything is complete and is ready to be picked up. • Open to all levels • 2 hours

Policies

Refund Policy: - A refund or credit will be granted (minus $20 processing fee) if a cancellation request is received at least TWO WEEKS prior to the day of class - For cancellation requests placed 48 hours or less prior to class date, a credit (no refund) MAY be granted ONLY if your spot can be filled - If multi-day workshop, no refunds or credits are granted after attending the first day - Try Days or Workshops missed due to failure to attend will not be credited Picking Up Artwork: Pieces made in Try Days take a minimum of four weeks to fully complete (bisque and glaze firing). Once they are finished, a staff member will notify each participant via email to come pick up the individually bagged artwork. In-person pick up is required, we do not ship.
