Mondays @ 6:30 - 9:00 pm, May 13 - June 17 with with Kelsey Segasser Tuesdays @ 6:30 - 9:00 pm, May 14 - June 18 with Kelsey Segasser Wednesdays @ 6:30 - 9:00 pm, May 15 - June 19 with Rosanne Petrella Thursdays @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm, May 9 - June 13 with Rosanne Petrella Thursdays @ 6:30 - 9:00 pm, May 9 - June 13 with Karen Laing Saturdays @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm, May 11 - June 15 with Alissa Mittl Sundays @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm, May 12 - June 16 with Michelle Chae This intensive six week course is an excellent introduction to ceramics for students who are interested in throwing on the wheel, trimming work, surface design techniques, glazing, and hand-building which can be incorporated into wheelwork or explored independently. This class is designed for beginners with little to no ceramics experience who are looking to gain an overview of the art form. Week 1: Studio Etiquette & Safety, Intro to Throwing & Wedging Week 2: Trimming & Handles Week 3: Surface Design Week 4: Glazing Week 5: Hand-building & Trim-a-thon Week 6: Glaze Fest Note: Prior experience is not required. Class includes: - 25 lbs of clay - 6-weeks of 2.5 hours of instruction - Unlimited use of studio during open studio hours - Firing fees - Glazes

Policies

Class Fees & Schedule: - Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, open studio hours, studio glazes and kiln firings - Pottery class fees include 25 lbs of clay - Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota (7) isn't met - Class switches will only be available one week prior to the commencement of classes and are based on the capacity of classes at time of request Attendance: - It is mandatory for all students who are new to the studio attend the first class - No “make-up” classes are given but drop-in's are welcome in another class if space permits - For adult classes, participants must be at least 14 years of age Personal Belongings: - Any items left behind 30 days after the final class meeting may be discarded without notice Refund Policy: - Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable - Refund or credit (minus $20 processing fee) if a cancellation request is received at least TWO WEEKS prior to the start of class - Cancellation requests 48 hours or less than to start class, a credit (no refund) MAY be granted ONLY if your spot can be filled - No refunds or credits after attending 1st class - Classes missed due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses or vacations will not be credited for future classes Student Open Studio Hours: Monday - Thursday: 10AM - 6PM Friday - Sunday: 10AM - 9PM Hours subject to change upon five days' notice
