Reclaimed clay is recycled clay that has been salvaged, reconditioned, and made workable again. Reclaiming clay is a sustainable and cost-effective practice in pottery. It reduces waste and allows us to reuse clay repeatedly, making it an environmentally responsible choice.
 
This clay is best used for throwing, not for sculpting and handbuilding as the plasticity of the clay is reduced due to the reclaim process. This clay will not have quite the same texture as brand new clay from our manufacturers (Laguna, Aardvark, IMCO). Approximately 25 lbs.
 
Please note:  Each batch of reclaim clay will vary slightly, as it is made up of scraps in trimming buckets and our slop bins. Depending on the ratio of each clay type, the reclaim may differ in color and texture. However, it typically does exhibit some specks due to the large amount of Speckled Bmix and Speckled Buff usage.
